These terms explain, in plain language, the conditions for using Fate Hall (fatehall.com). By using the site you agree to them. Effective October 27, 2026.
1. What Fate Hall is
Fate Hall offers free fortune readings based on traditional East Asian and Western systems. All readings are for entertainment and personal reflection only. They are not predictions of the future and are not medical, psychological, financial, legal or other professional advice. Please make important decisions yourself and, where appropriate, with a qualified professional.
2. No accounts, no fees
You can use Fate Hall without registering and without paying. We may change, add or remove features at any time, and we may suspend the site for maintenance.
3. Your information
The details you enter are processed in your own browser and are not sent to us. How storage on your device and advertising cookies work is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. If you enter another person's details, for example for a compatibility reading, please do so only with their agreement.
4. Accuracy and no warranty
We take care to calculate calendars, solar terms and astronomical positions correctly and describe our methods on the Sources & methods page. Even so, the site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Traditional systems also differ from school to school, so another practitioner may read the same chart differently.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by the law that applies to you, Fate Hall is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site or its readings, including decisions made on the basis of a reading. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
6. Acceptable use
Please do not interfere with the site, try to overload it, copy it in bulk with automated tools, or use it in a way that breaks the law. You may share your own results and screenshots for personal, non-commercial use.
7. Content and trademarks
The site's design, code, text and images, including the card artwork, belong to Fate Hall. Classical texts quoted on the site, such as the I Ching, are in the public domain; our translations and summaries of them are our own work. Names of third-party lotteries and products belong to their owners and are used only to describe formats.
8. Advertising and links
The site may show advertising from third parties such as Google AdSense and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version and its effective date are always on this page, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page.
